WUR enjoys a unique position that allows us to outline perspectives on the directions we can take by looking at the entire food system from different disciplines and explaining both the dilemmas and the false contradictions.
With some technical help from studio Mikkel (engineer & product designer) and Mara Roos (graphic designer & developer). I dedicated myself to the presentations for the Opening Academic Year of Wageningen University & Research. The visual design was made in the form of abstract image rhyme through film. Wageningen University & Research annually celebrates the Opening of the Academic Year. In it, speakers share their views on a topical theme. The 105th Opening Academic Year, 2023 - 2024, took place on Sept. 4, 2023. This year's theme was Shaping Sustainable Futures.
